Officer of the Day (OD)
The Officer of the Day (OD) is charged with taking the messages off the Olney
HELP answering machine. The OD then contacts the proper members of Olney
HELP to complete the request. Approximately 2-4 hours a month.
Drivers
Drivers receive client information from the OD and then set up a mutually agreed
upon time with the client to deliver the food assistance. The driver then goes to
the pantry and picks up the prepared orders and delivers them to the client.
Approximately 2-4 hours a month.
Pantry Support Team
The pantry support team helps sort food donations and helps assemble the food
orders customized for each client. Approximately 8-12 hours a month.
Assistant Grant Writer
Assist the lead grant writer in researching and writing grants. Up to 15 hours a
month.
Food Pick-Up Driver
Pick-up donated food at drop-off sites, from donors/partners or food drives and deliver to the
pantry or storage site. Approximately 1-2 hours a month.
Administrative Tasks
Thank you note writer---Computer skills necessary. Approximately 2-4 hours a
month.
