Welcome to Olney HELP
Welcome to Olney HELP! We have been providing food and financial assistance to local families for over 40 years. Our clients call with varied reasons for seeking aid. Many are living on fixed incomes or find their income isn’t keeping pace with rising basic expenses. Others have experienced prolonged illness or injury which leaves them temporarily unable to work. Today’s economic climate is forcing many people to request help for the first time.
Our services include:
Emergency Food Assistance
Emergency food assistance—we provide a 3-5 day emergency food supply that includes both fresh and nonperishable food to individuals and families requesting help. read more
Financial Assistance
Once a year, we provide limited financial aid to prevent foreclosure or eviction, to help prevent cut-off of utilities, and to purchase essential medications. read more
Referrals
We also provide referrals to other nonprofit, state and federal agencies that may be able to assist in providing food or financial help. read more
